Abstract : Through a psycho-sociological approach, this paper explores the mind-body warfare in Thomas Hardy’s Jude the Obscure (1895). It shows how an ambitious country boy’s long-standing dreams of self-achievement and academic life in the city are later thwarted by his unexpected encounter with a charming girl from his own village. His impulses, affections and vices take precedence over his scholarly yearnings and make him an easy prey of flesh. Responding to the call of the body, he forgets about his ambition and marries that village girl, but only to repent later. The second chance he is given to fulfill his dream of a successful academic life in the city after the failure of his marriage does not turn out well either. His encounter with an unknown cousin of his in the city drifts him away from his ambition too. Hardy’s hero proves to be a victim of fate triggered by his own action, personality and social determinism. 

Abstract : Inclusive quality education for all is a right recognized by the international community. However, it is a major challenge, especially in Burkina Faso. This article examines the specific case of this country. It raises the problem of adapting the inclusive schools in Burkina
Faso to the educational needs of deaf learners. The main objective is to help inform the scientific community and education actors about the linguistic and didactic challenges of the educational inclusion of deaf children. Both quantitative and qualitative, the study, refers to the theory of social constructivism developed by the cognitive psychologist Lev Vygotsky (1978). The main results show that the teachers’ training is insufficient to target quality inclusive education. They then reveal a disparate use of the channels of pedagogical communication that are the school sign languages. Finally, they reveal that the didactic tools are inadequate to the learning needs of deaf children. Among the proposals made to improve the quality of education, we have the strengthening of the professional capacities of teachers, the adoption of a sign language for the education of the deaf and the adaptation of didactic tools to the contexts of the inclusive schools.

Abstract : What’s vocation today and how can it be discerned efficiently to live happily, in the context of endemic unemployment, particularly in the continents and regions where the youth population is majority? It is the question that this article answers by considering moral theology and ethics, which, according to the author, provide considerable resources for
vocational discernment today. He makes the assumption that happiness is the true key to vocation; that requires a real moral education to effective responsibility in history. Starting from the interpretation of some biblical texts, he comes to the conclusion that in Africa today, the culture of happiness must be promoted to make people happy.

Abstract : The contribution highlights the meeting of medical discourse and novelistic discourse. Relevant to the interdiscursivity, the present text shows how the reference to the disease can be a subject of writing. The novel and the literature become the place of convergence of all the sciences. The relationship between literature and science through the
theme of disease is proof that comparative literature is open and transdisciplinary. 

Abstract : This paper aims to show that the handled speech concerning reported speech is not restricted to verbal talk, and that the maining of the word “speech” in the group “reported speech” goes above the verbal level. It includes any over kind of speech produced beyond the verbal talk: the speech of written language and that of non-verbal language. All these speeches on the same time silent and nosy may be subject of various tranfers as well as verbal talk. Leaning on paralinguistic speech and taking as pretext two novels of Ahmadou Kourouma, it establishes and underlines the different forms of literary expression created by the mixing of the paralanguage and reported speech in the process of the circulation, the transfer and the translation of the speech. 

Abstract : This article deals with graphic message that integrates both slogan and image into the poetry / advertising complex. It also puts forward acoustic perceptions. The text thus makes it possible to define poetry advertising and poetic advertising. Advertising poetry is the
poetic way of writing or advertising but also the presence of poetry as a genre in advertising. It is both poetic (how to write) and spatial (place of meeting between genres – advertising genre and poetic genre (poetry)). It is the synergy between poetics and poetics. It is, thus, first poetry before being publicity. On the other hand, poetic advertising is the characteristic of poetry deployed in advertising. It is the fact of advertising by integrating the poeticity of the inputs: images, sound, color, word. Initially advertising first, it is then poetry. 

Abstract : As the Islamic Salvation Front was stripped of its electoral wins elections in 1991, violence erupted resulting in the loss of many lives in Algerian society. While some Algerian artists/ writers addressed the situation with novels and other scriptural genres, Yamina Bachir-Chouikh uses cinema with a film Rachida to show the effects of this societal crisis on Algerian people. Without rationalizing or legitimizing violence, this paper shows the effects of violence and/or terror on memory, the coping strategies deployed by terror victims, and eventually
the political implications of the cinematization of one narrative, among others, of the Algerian memory of the troubled years starting from the 1991. 

Abstract : Ethics is the search for good or rightness in following a logical process. It stems from ethics. Ethics is the research of rightness based on fair judgments. It would follow a logical procedure. As a science that has aimed the process of reasoning, logic must be perceived as dual purposes like practical and theoretical. Following speculative, practical and even moral aspect, there must be existed a correlation between logic and ethics. Just as logic, ethics establishes contemporary and in certain cases materialist traditions that contribute to improve the insight of realization about “reasonable” attitude in the pursuit of welfare for all. If ethics highlights the coherence that consists in explicating all characteristics which help to understand a concept and to distinguish it, we can say that it looks like logical action. Nevertheless, it must be perceived ethics firstly as individual matter before becoming social.
It is important to have little bit of ethics in the modern societies because there is social ethics that makes life possible in the society.
