Résumé : Cette réflexion sur Johnny chien méchant vise à montrer ce texte est, à la fois, un roman de guerre et un roman sur la guerre. Par sa technique scripturaire Emmanuel Dongala permet de saisir le chaos dans tout son ampleur. Si certaines catégories narratives sont une peinture réaliste de ce chaos, la diégèse, elle-même en est également un reflet. Toute chose qui laisse dire que ce roman est en somme un roman chaos comme pour signifier que nous les modernes nous nous réclamons du chaos. Mais en réalité, derrière ce chaos se pressent un ordre nouveau. C’est donc une réflexion sur la condition bouleversante l’homme africain.
Abstract : The reflection on Johnny chien méchant aims at indicating that the text is both a war novel and a novel about war. The scriptural technique of Emmanuel Dongala permits to capture the whole extent of the chaos. If some narrative categories are a realistic painting of that chaos, the diegesis itself is also a reflection of it. This leads to the statement that the novel is therefore a chaos novel meant to say that we, the modern, are claiming origin from the chaos. But in reality, a new order is hidden behind that chaos. This is then a consideration of the upsetting condition of the African man.
